Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. is one of the best album's to drop in 2017, regardless of genre. It was widely acclaimed across all boards and Kendrick managed to follow up 2015's To Pimp A Butterfly with another strong project. Today, Microsoft's website revealed that Kung Fu Kenny's latest album will be coming through with a collector's edition.

While Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. collector's edition will be available for purchase, the interesting part about the album is that the tracklist is reversed. Around the time the album dropped, rumors circulated that there was a second Kendrick album that would've been released on Easter day, following DAMN.'s Good Friday release, titled NATION. That rumor was debunked shortly afterwards. However, he confirmed in August the concept of a "dual album" existed but it wasn't with an accompanying album. He said that the project was just as cohesive from front to back as it would be from back to front and that he specifically made it so it could be played backwards. The collector's edition also has a completely new black & white cover art that fans may think is an even better representation of the album.

The strength of DAMN. has earned Kendrick numerous accolades. Most recently, he received a slew of Grammy nominations for his efforts on the project. DAMN.  has rightfully earned him nods in the Best Rap Album as well as Album Of The Year Categories. Along with that, "HUMBLE." earned four nominations including Record Of The Year and Best Music Video and "LOYALTY." featuring Rihanna has earned him a nod in the "Best Rap/Sung Performance" category.
