Kendrick continues to win into the new year. After his gigantic 2012, K-Dot is still cruising off the success of his good kid, m.A.A.d city project, with the new single from the album surpassing 500,000 in sales this week. Of course, his recent SNL performance and Drake feature are sure to keep propelling the single to match the platinum plaque he has for "Swimming Pools (Drank)". As far as radio play, the song currently sits at #6 on Rhythmic and #2 on Urban.
Lupe Fiasco’s collaboration with Guy Sebastian, "Battle Scars" also went gold this week. While the song has had its share of success in North America, Lupe's team up with the Austrailian singer-songwriter has earned multi-platinum sales down under.
