While The Game has expressed his approval of Adele's Album of the Year win over Beyonce, another Compton rapper is not so pleased with the result.
According to Top Dawg Entertainment co-president Terrence "Punch" Henderson, Kendrick Lamar was pissed off. "I just spoke to kdot," Punch wrote. "He's really up set about the Queen B not getting her album of the year trophy."
Kendrick, of course, is no stranger to Grammy controversy. His seminal good kid m.A.A.d. city famously lost Best Rap Album to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' The Heist in 2013. Though he likely do not text Adele after the ceremony, he did text Chance the Rapper to congratulate him on his Grammy wins.
