Kendrick Lamar isn't normally the kind to make lists, but during a recent radio interview, he made an exception.
Speaking with The Cruz Show crew on Power 106 in Los Angeles, the DAMN. rapper revealed who'd he put in his personal rapper "Top Five." He even decided to write it down for good measure while he was listing names, so perhaps he's keeping it for future tweaking.
Calling these five gentlemen "the cats that inspired [him] the most," Kendrick's five consists of Jay-Z, Eminem, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and Snoop Dogg. Perhaps a little conventional and/or predictable, especially coming from a wordsmith like Lamar, but it's impossible to argue against any one of those five as a solid choice.
