Denver's Grandoozy festival is set to feature names from Kendrick Lamar to Stevie Wonder.
If you're not attending at least one summer festival, what exactly are you doing with your time? One aspect of the summer that we continually look forward to is the festival circuit and with promoters beginning to recognize a need for hip-hop exclusive events like Rolling Loud or further inclusion of the genre in established fests like Coachella, the warmer months are getting even more exciting. September in Denver is looking like a fun possibility with the line-up announcement of Grandoozy, which includes some names that are bound to draw impressive numbers.
Headliners include Kendrick Lamar and Stevie Wonder (!!!) which promise to leave the crowd satisfied as the sun goes down. Fans of both rap and R&B are bound to be stoked about inclusions like Logic, Miguel, De La Soul and 6lack. The middle to lower end of the line-up is remarkable in itself, housing names such as Daniel Caesar, Ty Dolla $ign, Big K.R.I.T., and Kelela. Spanning the entire weekend, the festival is being organized by the co-creators of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, promising to be an organized and successfully-coordinated event.
The festival will take place at Overland Park from September 14 to 16 with tickets officially going on sale this Friday. Check out the full line-up below and let us know if you're planning on attending the Grandoozy festival.
