Kendrick Lamar, Lil Pump, SZA & More Announced For Hangout Festival 2018

With the colder weather settling in these days, it's a reminder that festival season is officially done. However, it's also a sign that next year's festival season is being prepped with all the up and coming artists of this year getting there moment to shine. Many line-ups usually arrive between the top of the year to May or April. However, Hangout Music Festival is here to remind us that once the winter ends and the snow melts, festival season is back in effect.

Today, Hangout Music Festival announces their line up for their three-day slated from May 18th to 20th. Hosted against the Gulf Shores, Alabama oceanfront, they aim to take the festival and make it feel like the ultimate vacation. The festival offers a diverse set of acts from hip hop to rock to electronic but this year, they've definitely compiled a bunch o hip hop's hottest acts.

The festival has grabbed some massive names in hip hop including two of Top Dawg Entertainment's biggest acts. Kendrick Lamar is slated to close out the festival as the headliner for the final date on May 20th with SZA performing the same day. Along with them, Lil Pump is also scheduled to take the stage on the same day. Blackbear and Dej Loaf are scheduled to play on its opening day of May 18th as well as prolific underground enigma, Bones. Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Logic, NONAME and Cashmere Cat are scheduled for May 19th. 

Aside from the hip hop acts, they got other massive names headlining the other days of the festival. The Chainsmokers will be headlining Saturday May 19th and The Killers with headline the opening date. 

After kicking the festival off in 2010, they've gained an enormous amount of recognition over the years. In 2012, they won the "Festival Of The Year" award from the Pollstar Awards and has been nominated on multiple occasions for "Festival of the Year" at the IEBA awards.

Tickets for Hangout Festival 2018 go on sale this Friday with the regular three day pass starting at $259.
