Man, did Kendrick Lamar just deliver a powerful performance at this year's Grammy's. Called “controversial” by the host, LL Cool J, the 7-minute performance would go on to be arguably the highlight of the entire Grammy’s.

Draped in some prison gear, K Dot took the stage locked in shackles and backed by some prison imagery to perform his song “The Blacker the Berry” off his Grammy-winning album To Pimp a Butterfly. Next, he transited into another stellar performance of “Alright,” which featured some raging fire backing him up and acrobatic dancers showcasing their talents in the process.

Lastly, before the crowd gave its deserving standing ovation, K. Dot went on to perform a never before-heard song that found him spazzing out extremely hard on the mic about death & “modern day slavery.” Check it out all above.
