Juxtaposed by being placed back-to-back on the To Pimp A Butterfly tracklist, Kendrick Lamar's "u" and "Alright" represent opposite ends of the spectrum for the emotionally powerful rapper. Today, strains of the former introduce the latter's video.
Shot in black and white, the video features a number of striking images. The first, and most hilarious/awesome of these, is a shot of Kendrick and some friends wyling out in a car-- it appears they're driving along, but we zoom out and see that they're being carried on the shoulders of white policemen. Later on, we see some breakdancing, insane feats of balance and burning out cars.
