Kendrick Lamar just contributed a song to the Divergent soundtrack, and it looks like he's not done making music for films just yet. The upcoming superhero flick, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", will feature a new song from Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar titled "It's On Again". Lamar is said to be taking on a featuring role in the Keys song.

Alicia shared some details on the collaboration in a press release.

"I'm very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer," Keys stated. "This is the next chapter in the 'Spider-Man' legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story -- and most importantly -- the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There’s a little bit of a super hero in all of us.”

Pharrell will also be contributing to the score of the film, which will be helmed by acclaimed German film composer, Hans Zimmer. Apparently, Zimmer recruited a team of musicians to take a more songwriting-based approach to the score, enlisting Pharrell, Incubus' Mike Einzinger, Johnny Marr (of The Smiths), Junkie XL, Andrew Kawczynski and Steve Mazzaro for the job.

"We embraced a rock 'n'  roll ethos on this movie, and it paid off," Zimmer revealed.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" soundtrack hits stores April 22nd, while the movie itself opens May 2nd.
