Atlanta bred musician Kelechi has finally unleashed his Spring Breakup project. Clocking in at 8 songs total , the new outing is an effortless dance as Kelechi vacillates between R&B and hip-hop influences to create to dish out the ultimate breakup soundtrack.
“This is my album. Another album. If you’re curious how my Spring went. It’s a break up album, but it’s not,” Kelechi said on IG. “It’s about all the things that come with a break up. Pain, yeah. But coping (healthy and unhealthy) exploration, growth and ultimately peace. A lot of people who’ve REALLY been listening to my music have asked me if I’m good and the answer hasn’t been yes but getting this shit out is therapy for me. And I can say this as a happy drunk and not a depressed one, I’m good. And I’m glad it’s finally out.”
