Kaytranada may well be the hottest producer this side of Metro Boomin. After a stellar 2016 that included the release of his debut album 99.9% and an 87-minute mixtape called 0.001%, the Montreal producer kicks off 2017 with "Flipping On You," his remix of TLC’s track “Diggin’ on You." which originally appeared on the trio's landmark 2014 album CrazySexyCool.
"Flippin On You" filters the the original track and layers it over a dynamic percussive groove. An abundant use of side-chain compression, which has come to be Kaytranada's signature, gives the edit a hypnotic, pulsating feel.
