The white and red "Katrina" Air Jordan 3s aren't going to release this year as rumors had originally suggested, but Jordan Brand still has plans to release them, according to sneaker source @ZSneakerheadz.

The release date has reportedly been pushed back to 2018, and the report suggest fans can look forward to May 12th as a tentative release date. The kicks will retail for the standard Air Jordan price of $190.

These special edition 3s were originally introduced through charity auctions as a means to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2006, featuring a similar look as the beloved "White Cement" 3s with the addition of red on the mudguard instead of black.

In addition to the Katrina 3s, it is being reported that the black and grey "Shadow" Air Jordan 1s will also be featured as part of Jordan Brand's 2018 lineup, marking the first time the beloved shoe has released since 2013.
