Kathy Griffin took to The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday morning to speak about her experience at last weekend's White House Correspondent's Dinner. The My Life on the D-List star admits how she was particularly puzzled when she was invited to the gala, with Williams boasting "I can’t believe they invited you!"

Griffin notoriously posted an image of a decapitated Donald Trump, much to the dismay of political personnel and the general public alike. Throughout the evening, Griffin reveals how Republicans kept approaching her and asked why she was in attendance.

The comedienne then recounts how she reacted after Michelle Wolf delivered her now-infamous comedic address, which criticized a bevy of White House staff in a expletive-laden manner. Griffin notes how she was "Michelle Wolf's biggest defender" that evening, having stood up after her roast and exclaimed "you did it girl!"

She also admits how stared down former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who sat nearby. "I started some crap," she revealed. "I got into fights and everything."

Griffin never fails to ruffle some feathers whenever she can.
