Karrueche Tran turns some heads.
Karrueche Tran has never been known to shy away from the cameras, especially when she's turning heads in a risque outfit. Before the recent VH1 Hip Hop Honors show, she got the chance to stun onlookers with her bold look. With a barely-there top half contrasting with her wildly colorful bottoms, those who were looking for something to dazzle their retinas didn't have to go very far from where she was standing.
Evoking memories of Madonna's Gen X touring days with a cone bra attached to suspenders, leaving very little to the imagination when it comes to what lies beneath that retro-flavored facade. Her bright, colorful pants also played on the classic theme, with characters including the female cartoon mainstay Betty Boop making up part of the design. Completing the look with some bold black heels, hoop earrings and glittering bracelets, Karrueche looked every part the fashion-forward star that we all know her to be. This comes after an incident earlier this month where she clapped back at the haters who were bombarding her Twitter profile online, claiming that people have a greater tendency to "shame real bodies" and "praise fake ones." Though there is surely nothing completely fake about her recent VH1 look, it's refreshing to see a female star who carries herself with the kind of confidence needed to say those words on social media and then be able to back it up when she's surrounded by photographers at such an event.
Blac Chyna and Kelly Rowland were among the other familiar faces who also wowed during the arrivals for the show. Chyna was doing her best Lil Kim impression with the long, blonde braids and and a 90's-style jacket that gave fans a generous look at her assets. Meanwhile, Rowland kept things a little simpler, donning a silver dress and matching shoes that gave her some serious fashion game on the red carpet. They and everybody else did a wonderful job at recreating the decade of the cassette tape and the Tamagotchi from a visual standpoint. With excellent performances during the show as well, it was a great night for all the old-school heads out there.
