Kap G Talks "DOPE" Appearance

The anticipated film "DOPE" hits theatres today. The movie, which was produced by Pharrell's IamOTHER venture, features a who's who of artists and celebrities-- A$AP Rocky, Forrest Whittaker, Chanel Iman, Zoe Kravitz and more all make an appearance. One of the lesser-known artists that is featured in the film is "La Policia" rapper Kap G. He stopped by our office recently to discuss his role in the movie, as well as talk about how his single "Cocaine Shawty" landed on the film's soundtrack.

He goes on to talk about his connection with T.I., his thoughts on the XXL Freshmen cover, and more.
