Kap-G has teamed with Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna for "Marvelous Day," a song from his Mood EP released Friday. The song was first previewed back in June. Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna share the chorus, while Kap delivers the first verse. From there, all three vocalists take turns chiming in, subverting the usual 16 bar verse structure to great effect.
Kap-G appeared on the 2017 XXL Freshman list. Last month, he shared "Pull Up," a collaboration with Lil Baby, who like Gunna is a good friend of Young Thug's. In October, he told us about his successful year in his On The Come Up segment. "My most proudest moment has been this year. I started at least seven or eight years a go or even longer probably. I say this year all the accomplishments that I've been having. Getting XXL Freshman, getting a Sprite deal, working with one of my favorite singers Chris Brown. It's just been an incredible year. I'm going on my first headlining tour."
As for Lil Uzi Vert, the Philly rapper just shared a deluxe edition of LUV Is Rage 2, complete with four new songs.
