Ahead of Frankie J and Baby Bash's upcoming album Sangria slated to drop next Friday, October 20th, the two have joined forces with Kap G and Paula DeAnda for the track "Body Yo Body."
The easy listening track is one for the ladies, that raps about getting down with a certain someone.
"I can tell she on that freaky shit/Yea I peeped the shit/I can tell she on that pick me shit/Sending me freaky shit," Kap G raps.
The Atlanta rapper stands out from a few in the game by mixing his sounds with both the city he grew up in as well as his Mexican heritage. Kap G came to light when he dropped his mixtape Like A Mexican in 2014. After signing a deal with Atlantic Records, he then made a mark with his debut album, SupaJefe. The title of that particular drop came to life from one of his favourite shows as a child.
"At the time, I just felt like I was reaching another level. And one of my favourite shows of all time is DragonBall Z," he told HNHH. " And [there's] a level when they turn into Supersaiyan and I just added that to "boss" and translated it to Spanish to "Jefe". So I took Supersaiyan and said "SupaJefe." That's my Supersaiyan."
As for some of his memorable milestones since becoming a rising act, he noted that the year 2017 takes the cake. "I started at least seven or eight years ago or even longer probably. I say this year all the accomplishments that I've been having. Getting XXL freshmen, getting a Sprite deal, working with one of my favourite singers Chris Brown. It's just been an incredible year. I'm going on my first headlining tour." He said.
