It’s safe to say Kanye West has taken a particular liking to Instagram since joining the social media platform just a couple weeks ago. He’s posted everything from family pics & studio sessions to lookbook teasers & announcing a new album called Yandhi, the Chicago rapper has really utilized Instagram platform & reach, and he’s nowhere near done using it either. On Wednesday, Ye decided to show off the first look at his upcoming Yeezy basketball shoe.
Kanye was seen rocking the shoes himself while standing under a railroad track in Chicago. He simply left “YZY BSKTBL” as the caption as he showed off the shoe. Although details on the shoe remain unknown, the shoe appears to take on a jagged print graphic sitting behind wavy stripe accents with reflective 3M elements found on the heel and tongue. Other features include a semi-translucent midsole and a sturdy collar/ankle support.
No word yet as for when they’ll be dropping, but considering basketball season is fastly approaching in October, you’d think they be dropping sometime sooner than later. However this is Kanye and Yeezy were talking about so who knows.
