It appears Kanye West is back on Twitter. After deleting his Instagram and Twitter accounts back in May of last year, ‘Ye decided to reactivate his Twitter account Friday night, and in the process he sent a little shot at Nike as well.
For his first tweet, Kanye shared a screenshot of an Hypebeast article that reports Nike is about to release a knock off Ye’s “Yeezy 700” sneaker next month called “M2K Tekno,” and Kanye had some good laughs at that expense. Ye shared the article along with the caption “Yeezy 700 vibes” and the facepalm and laughing emojis as well.
The tweet was up for roughly 10-15 minutes before it was removed, along with all his other old tweets as well. In fact, the only thing on Kanye’s twitter page at the moment is a retweet of a “welcome back” message by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
Kanye's return to Twitter comes hours after reports surfaced that the Chicago rapper wants to "pummel" Tristan Thompson for cheating on his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian. However I don't know how well that would work out for him considering he's probably half his size.
