These days you can almost always count on Kanye West to turn the world upside down with his actions. Earlier today news broke of West's scheduling conflict with the CFDA and designer Marchesa. Long story short, 'Ye didn't consult with any CFDA officials before announcing the time for his Yeezy Season 5 fashion show and that resulted in a direct time conflict with women's dress designer Marchesa.

Now it appears West has made amends for his mistake and went directly to CFDA chief executive officer Steven Kolb to fix the problem. According to, West called Kolb and apologized and the two agreed on a time slot that was only two hours earlier than his originally planned 5 p.m. show.

You can read a portion of Kolb's statement about the incident below and be ready to tune into Yeezy Season 5 on February 15th at 3 p.m.

Kanye called me personally to let me know that he had no intention of showing on top of another designer, and was unaware that there was a conflict. He explained that once he realized Marchesa was in the time slot, he immediately looked at alternative options. The CFDA appreciates Kanye’s outreach and effort, and we look forward to working with him far in advance to integrate Yeezy into the schedule in seasons to come.
