After rocking some blue eye contacts last night to the Met Gala and sufficiently shocking us, Kanye West called into the Steve Harvey Morning Show this morning for an exclusive interview.

The rapper does his usual share of venting and explaining the motives behind his actions. Mid-way through the interview, Ye discusses his twitter spat with Wiz Khalifa, saying,

"You know how you would feel if someone was talking about your wife. Did I take it too far? You know what, I'm from 79th street Chicago... I can't say that if someone says 'F you,' I can't say I'm not gonna say the exact same thing back," he continued, "I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents. There is no concept of anyone beating up on someone else's child or that type of concept. So everyday I feel more deeply deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive concepts."

This leads into him discussing their interracial relationship, how 'KimYe' has been able to break boundaries, and how he won't tolerate disrespect towards his wife.

The rapper also discusses The Life of Pablo, ignoring what the critics say (about the album and his fashion show), as well as an upcoming tour-- "You know my tour game is strong." Word. He went on to reveal that the tour is expected for the fall, "My tour game is unprecedented. So we're going to go out in September I believe, and we're just working on some of the ideas right now. But as I said before, I'm trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me when I saw the original 'Star Wars.'"
