Kanye West has been an active Twitter user for years, but he's one of the few major artists to hold out on an Instagram account. After announcing plans that he would finally be getting on the platform back in March, Ye has delivered on the promise today with the launch of the 100% verified @kanyewest account.
So far, he's yet to post, but one can only imagine the possibilities of what the rapper and fashion designer could have in store for us. The last he spoke of Instagram, he argued that he'd only sign up if he has full complete control of his account.
"I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition......" he wrote on Twitter earlier this year. "no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... It's my art... My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet... Non artist trying to grab the paint brush..."
Assuming Ye doesn't have to answer to anyone with his new account, we should be getting some incredible content very soon.
