Kanye West Invited To Visit Slave Ports In Africa By Nigerian Lawmaker

A Nigerian lawmaker wants Kanye West to "experience the choices in chains."

Kanye West stirred up a whole lot of controversy this week following his appearance on TMZ Live where he said that slavery "sounds like a choice" with a bit of a smirk on his face. Despite the fact that he attempted to clarify what he said, fans weren't willing to accept any sort of apology. Now, a Nigerian lawmaker has caught wind of what 'Ye said and has invited him to visit the slave ports in Africa.

Kanye's latest comments made headlines across the globe and now, a Nigerian lawmaker want Kanye West to see how much of a "choice" slavery was. Senator Shehu Sani took to Twitter this morning to invite Kanye West to slave routes and camps in Africa.

"If Kanye West thinks Slavery was a choice,we will offer him a free ticket & tour guide to visit slave routes and camps in Badagry Lagos,Ouida Benin Republic,Ghana & Goree Island in Senegal to ‘experience the choices in chains’." He wrote. "Kanye defecated on the graves of victims."

Following 'Ye's comments, social media users followed the #CancelKanye hashtag and many people, including celebrities, supported the notions. Chris Brown, who recently celebrated a platinum selling song with 'Ye for "Waves," went in on "THIS MAN IS A CLOWN! OUR SONG JUST WENT PLATINUM BUT FUCK THAT! CMON BRUH, and if any flunkies gotta problem,, SEE ME... please!"
