It seems the debate between Waves, Swish, and the OG title So Help Me God rages on. Kim Kardashian asked fans to vote on their favorite title in a recent twitter poll, and in a new interview with Big Boy, Kanye reveals that the title for his upcoming album is not set in the stone.
"We don't have a name, yet," Kanye says of the album title. "Yeah, I wanted to get peoples' opinions of how they felt," he says going on to elaborate on how his fans are basically family.
When asked about what he's trying to do with this album, Kanye makes quite the statement.
"Ultra light beams," he declares. "I'm tryna open up hearts, minds. When I was sitting in the studio with Kirk, Kirk Franklin, and we're just going through it, I said this is a gospel album, with a whole lot of cursing on it, but it's still a gospel album. The gospel according to Ye. It's not exactly what happened in the bible, but it's this story idea of Mary Magdalene becoming Mary."
