Auditions to participate in the Yeezy Season 4 fashion show will be held tomorrow in NYC. They are open to "multiracial women only."
Earlier today, Kanye West announced a casting call for his latest fashion line, Yeezy Season 4, which is set to be unveiled on Sept. 7, the first day of New York Fashion Week. The casting call will take place tomorrow (Sept. 3) from 11 AM to 5 PM at Jack Studios in New York City. The flyer he shared on Twitter includes one strict barrier to entry: "Multiracial women only." Kanye also asks that the multiracial women who audition should "Come as you are" and not wear any makeup.
The details of Kanye's launch of Yeezy Season 4 are not yet known, aside that the event is set for the opening day of NYFW. As Pitchfork notes, Kanye has used the previous Yeezy fashion shows as a means of premiering new music. He debuted "Wolves" at Season 1 and "Fade" at Season 2. The Season 3 show, which took place in February at Madison Square Garden, was accompanied by the live premiere of his latest album, The Life of Pablo.
