Mindful

K. Michelle has already shared two singles and one freestyle in advance of her new album, More Issues Than Vogue, and her latest track may have the most in common with the rap verse. "Mindful" is built off of a funky guitar line, and the singer takes the opportunity to ride the groove with some impressive bars, injecting some serious attitude into her rhythmic verses.

Adding to the previous releases from the project, MITV, is shaping up to be a pretty versatile project, and if it's as solid as her last studio album, Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?, it should be one of the best R&B releases of the year.
