Earlier this week, promising Queens talent Justin Rose released an expertly crafted banger called "I Got It." He conceived the beat as an homage to "Uncle P" Pharrell. The combination of unorthodox percussive elements and robust 808s does sound a lot like a sort of modernized trap Pharrell instrumental.
Rose's first thought after making the beat was "I got it!" so that's what he made the song about. He rides the beat rapping about his "foolish swag" and similar topics.
