Justin Bieber premiered the music video for "What Do You Mean?" moments after submitting a teary-eyed live performance of the song at last night's VMAs.
The video features Bieber's bold attempt to impress his girl by staging an elaborate kidnapping, in which she plays the role of terrified kidnapee. In the opening scene, Bieber hands a hefty wad of cash to shady figure played by John Leguizamo on a rain-soaked urban street. "Make sure the girl don't get hurt."
He then proceeds to get it on with model Xenia Deli (hailing from rural Moldova) in a motel room before being barged in upon by a pair of masked kidnappers. Taken captive and transported to a warehouse, Bieber uses the lighter that Leguizamo gave him to burn through the ropes, freeing him and Xenia to run off and jump down a chute onto a giant air cushion in the warehouse basement where there happens to be a warmly-lit party in an indoor skate park.
