When Three 6 Mafia won the academy award for best song for a song they did for the film "Hustle & Flow," years back, they quickly delivered what became everyone's favorite Oscar acceptance speech. Now that the final chapter of the Hollywood awards season is upon us tonight, Juicy J offers some advice to the nominees, saying:
"Just don't be drunk,” he says. “You know, be sober the whole show. And if you win, or if you don't win or whatever, then get drunk after the show. That’s what I did, you know what I'm saying. I was super sober and after the show, after we won, I actually tried to get drunk. But I couldn't because I was super tired. But I was drunk, a little bit."
If you remember, Juicy J along with the rest of Three 6 Mafia won Best Original Song for "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp." Juicy J offered his opinion on how he thinks the winners tonight should accept their award.
"I think they should thank God, man, you know what I'm saying,” Juicy J said to MTV. "I don't hear a lot of people thanking God for their acceptance speeches. They be just like, ‘Yo, thank this person.' You should thank everybody, and thank God as well, you know what I'm saying. It it wasn't for Him, we wouldn't even be here.”
