Having established himself as one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers, Chicago emo-rap crooner Juice WRLD is getting ready to release his next project, the follow to his debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance.
His first album, which dropped close to the end of May, was immediately followed by several leaks of unheard songsl. This had fans believing that another project was imminent, and it turns out they were right, but not in the way they thought. Juice WRLD took to Twitter today to address the numerous leaks, and announce that his next project will contain all new material.
"The music I’m making now is going to fuck your heads up 🤦🏽♂️ next project dropping in a few weeks..even with all the leaks I still got a shitload of songs y’all never heard..I shouldn’t drop anymore music cuz mfs love leaking..but I got y’all 🖤🖤999."
This announcement comes in the midst of a meteoric rise in popularity for Juice. After debuting at number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, his hit single "Lucid Dreams" recently cracked the top ten of the list, and is expected to potentially reach the top spot of the chart as well. He's also announced plans to drop a collaborative tape with Ski Mask The Slump God, which will probably drop sometime in the year 3000 or so.
If you were a fan of the leaked songs, it's unfortunate that they won't be able to get the shine they deserve. However, that just means even more new music on the way from Juice WRLD.
