Things aren't looking too good for Juelz Santana these days especially he reportedly pleaded guilty to the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon as well as carrying a weapon on an aircraft. The charges he admitted to carry a maximum sentencing of 20 years behind bars which hopefully, won't be the case. However, the recent admission of the crimes may have also prevented him from being able to attend the VMA's this year.
According to the Blast, the judge on Juelz Santana's gun case has denied him permission to attend the VMA's at Radio City Music Hall tonight. The rapper recently asked the court to grant him permission to head to the award show in New York City. Juelz Santana's been out of jail on a $500K bond. The rapper is required to wear an ankle-monitor and must abide by strict travelling rules when he's going out of state. Unfortunately, he's been living with his mother in New Jersey since he was released from jail and heading to the VMA would require him to cross over to New York state.
Although the judge barred Juelz Santana from attending the award show, the rapper was previously granted permission to tape "Love & Hip Hop: New York" and also tour with Dipset over the summer for a few dates.
Juelz Santana will return to court on December 12 for his sentencing.
