You may be more familiar with her name than her music, at this point. Jorja Smith's name will ring a bell if you listened to Drake's More Life playlist, as the UK artist had a guest spot on the album, following which, rumors were dispersed that the two artists were dating (although they seem to be just that).

Today the London-bred artist drops her first release since doling out Drake's feature on "Get It Together," as well as, more recently, a feature for Kali Uchis' "Tyrant." Seems like there might be some strategy behind these releases. If this is your first introduction to Jorja's solo music, take a listen and let us know what you think. Jorja delivers powerful vocals over a lush backdrop. It's currently available to stream on Spotify, after premiering on BBC Radio 1's MistaJams show.

Quotable Lyrics

You weren't the boy I thought I knew
Maybe I was blind, I was young, I didn't have a clue
You were the topic of my lunch times
I'd bore the girls about our chance
And get upset when you didn't text back
