The arrival of John Wick's third installment resulted in a stellar box office debut and so as expected by movie buffs. Precisely the film, which refocused Keanu Reeves at its core and added Halle Berry into the cast, garnered a total of $56.8 million dollars in box office sales from its opening weekend. The latter was calculated based on the 3.850 North American movie theatre locations. And while the newer chapter managed to dethrone Avengers: Endgame, who experienced a four-week long run prior to that, the directs behind the franchise had already teased the preparation for a fourth chapter. Now, Lionsgate has fully confirmed it all to be true.

According to Variety, the film company announced the return of Keanu Reeves in John Wick 4 on the precise date of May 21st, 2021. Though we can affirm this was expected, considering the directors shared within their interview with Reddit that the fans would determine whether or not they did the fourth chapter. No other details have been released as of yet, but the studio made its announcement via a text message dedicated to fans: "You have served. You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming – May 21, 2021."

So get ready John Wick fans, a new chapter is on the way.
