It was just last week when we found out that Cardi B would be a judge along side T.I. and Chance The Rapper on the upcoming Netflix Hip-Hop show Rhythm + Flow. At the time, some people didn’t like the idea of Cardi being a judge, including Wendy Williams, saying she wasn’t qualified enough to be a judge on a talent show, but that’s not John Legend believes. In fact, John said that the Bodak Yellow rapper is going to the be star of the show.
On Tuesday night, TMZ caught John leaving the Fox Theatre in Atlanta Tuesday night and asked him how he feels about critics saying Cardi's unqualified for her judge position, to which he replied, “Cardi B going to be the star of the show. Mark my words”
John happens to be the show’s executive producer so he’s definitely trying to build hype for the show, but he probably is right about Cardi going to be the star.
