Joey Purp killed shit with his last track, "Run It Up," and the Chicago emcee is now back with a "Performance Art Freestyle," which will seemingly also end up on his upcoming album, iiiDrops.
The title is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, as you might expect Purp to come through with some flowery, cryptic wordplay -- instead, the SaveMoney rapper embarks on a relentless attack of blistering bars over the off-kilter production from Knox Fortune. There was likely some blood left on the mic after this one. Freestyling really is some of the best "performance art" there is.
