With his album-turned-mixtape Ill Street Blues successfully behind him, Joey Fatts is on to the next thing, and by thing, we mean sound. Dropping off a new record today, "Grindin," the West Coast native spoke on always striving to create something new sound-wise. This one has production from Go Grizzly, although Joey is more than able to create beats of his own.
"It's sounding different, that's the goal. Never to come like I've come before. Have to keep them guessing can't be predictable that's when you get boring," he told Complex. "I might drop a Mariachi record next. The goal is to be creative, to have fun. To provide, to give back. To break barriers. To be remembered. To be someone that was known to come with that work."
