Joey Bada$$'s debut album is out now, and with that, the rapper is making the interview rounds in NYC. He visited our offices (interview coming later today), as well as Hot 97, and can't forget Sway in the Morning.
Joey and Sway start off by discussing Joey's recent travels, and how girls overseas differ from the NYC girls. He also responds to the Malia Obama Pro Era selfie, and how he didn't know it was Malia in the photo at first. The rapper goes on to reveal that he believes his phone tapped, possibly because that selfie. "My phones is tapped at the moment. When you have the leader of the free world's daughter wearing your shirts and all of that, I guess they start to investigate. They got my whole crib surrounded. I mean, I believe it. I don't sleep, I hear the clicks on my phone," he tells Sway.
