Despite the fact we haven't received a lot of solo music from Joey Bada$$ in recent times, he has dished out a lot of dope guest verses over the past few months. Joey stood out when he came into the game based on the fact that he brought back that sound of old school east coast hip hop. However, over time, he's shown that he could pretty much hop on any beat and slay it. Today, he joins forces with singer Max for their new collaboration, "Still New York."

Max releases his new track "Still New York" and who better to feature on it than the young king Joey Bada$$. The song doesn't fit into Joey Bada$$' typical hip hop sound. Instead, it's a huge pop record that sounds fitting for stadiums. As Max comes through holding down the melodic parts of the song, Joey Bada$$ swoops in towards the end.

In addition to his collaboration with Max, Joey Bada$$ also teamed up Chloe X Halle for their single, "Happy Without Me" and yesterday, they released the official visuals for the song. Joey Bada$$ is getting busy this year and we're sure he has more music in the cut for this year.
