Joel Embiid is asking his followers to vote him into the NBA All-Star Game to help him land a date with his crush, a woman who told him to "come back when you're an All-Star" a few years ago. As we know, thanks to a number of unashamed tweets over the years, Embiid's crush is none other than Rihanna.
Here's what the he said about their interaction back in 2014, although he only referred to her as a "famous girl".
Now that Embiid is finally healthy and averaging a respectable 18.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game, he needs all the help he can get to earn a spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star team and land a dream date with Rihanna.
