Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Joe Budden is a wise dude. The man has had a wide-ranging career, coming up in the mainstream spotlight, dominating the underground mixtape circuit, being part of the DEF JAM 2: FIGHT FOR NY roster (clear highlight), the Slaughterhouse era, and now holding it down as one half of Everyday Struggle. Jumpoff Joey has no shortage of experience in the game, so whether you agree with him or not, his words carry a certain degree of weight.

A couple of days back, Joe Budden and Akademiks were discussing which GOAT contender had the most bad albums. Joe immediately said he had an answer, but wouldn't say who it was. "Ya'll don't pay me enough to say it," said Joey. Akademiks was having none of it, immediately firing back with "Eminem? that's what you're tryin' to say?"

"No," replies Joey, with a coy look on his face. The glance all but confirms it for Ak, who takes the Eminem answer as fact. Joe, however, does proceed to defend Em's honor:

"That's a fast growing myth. How many bad albums does Eminem have? Two? Two!"

Akademiks is unconvinced. "For someone considered the GOAT, isn't that too much?" Joey responds with an exasperated "shut up. He's a fuckin' recovering addict, you know how many drugs the nigga has done?...Nigga's on every drug in the world, and ya'll are like 'I hate this body of work'...shut the fuck up!"

Joe's group Slaughterhouse is signed to Shady Records, and we're still waiting on their new album produced by Just Blaze (which is never coming out).

Most importantly, do ya'll agree with Joey's comments? I think two bad albums is a fair claim, but which are they? I'd go with Recovery & MMLP 2 as my selections, with The Eminem Show being his crowning achievement.

GOAT discussion begins around 40:00 minute mark.
