At around 4am this morning, New England Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo posted a goodbye message to the Patriots organization on instagram, which had NFL fans scrambling to find out what it all meant.
As it turns out, it doesn't mean anything.
The NFL Network is reporting that Jimmy G's instagram was hacked and the farewell post was nothing more than a hoax. Furthermore, ESPN's Josina Anderson is reporting that there are no trade talks ongoing between the Patriots and the Browns, who are always desperate for a QB.
Garoppolo's instagram post has since been deleted but you can check out the screenshot below.
