Just last week Jimmy Fallon dropped off a video that saw pedestrians around the Rockefeller Center hilariously sing popular songs by Cardi B, Post Malone, Migos and Drake. The catch to the whole video was that the people had never heard the songs before so they kind of made up their own tune or turned it into a caroling song.
This week Jimmy has come through yet again with a whole new video that sees him and Lin-Manuel Miranda (music composer) turning popular songs into Christmas music and performing it for the studio audience. For example, Camila Cabello's "Havana" has lyrics like “Mall Santa, ho ho ho. His breath is reeking like Jack Daniels ho ho ho.” Post Malone’s “Better Now” sees them singing: “My grandma gave me a new sweater now, sweater now. Looks like she got it from the lost and found, lost and found.”
And finally, Cardi B’s “I Like It” has funny lyrics like: “Now I like giving, I like shopping/I like stuffing all my stockings."
Other songs they add a remix to are Zedd's "The Middle,” Ed Sheeran's "Perfect," Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left To Cry" and more. Watch the official video below to get into the holiday spirit.
