While Tory Lanez has officially issued a challenge to the entire Dreamville roster, J.I.D has been hitting the road, putting in work on his next endeavor. As it happens, the lyricist has recently announced an upcoming tape with esteemed producer No I.D, which, given J.I.D's work ethic, will likely emerge sooner than later. Now, between hitting shows and issuing stern warnings to Tory Lanez, J.I.D. has taken to Twitter to stoke a little bit of hype for his upcoming project.

"The @MAXOKREAM vocals just came in and I don’t wanna talk to yall about music for a full 24hours," he writes. "N***z is really amazing out here." Of course, those attuned to Maxo's work can attest to the fact that he's among the game's secret weapons, a stellar lyricist and storyteller in his own right. Maxo returned the love, promising they'd be "going crazy all 2019." The idea of a J.I.D. and Maxo Kream collaboration is enough to satiate the quest for knowledge, at least until the smoke settles, and more concrete developments surface.

In the meantime, let J.I.D's coy use of the teeth-clench emoji say what words cannot.
