Straight from Atlanta, J.I.D. has a trademark nasal voice that ingratiates itself to a listener. The Spillage Village member was last seen on the collective's mixtape Bears Like This Too Much.
His new track "Bruuuh" lasts about 2 minutes, but the rhymer packs a heavy lyrical punch. Willie B's production has a memorable repetitive beat reminiscent of 80s slasher flicks. But J.I.D. doesn't let it steal the show. The mad scientist delivers dope bars on this track. You'd think his voice and brain are the components of a unique instrument he tunes up at the beginning of the song. To think this is only the first taste of a project he has on the way.
Out the womb, I was the last, I'm the youngest of seven
Birthday same day as the reverend
