Things between Jhené Aiko and her former manager, Joshua Williams has been rocky and it doesn't look like their relationship has improved at all. Earlier this year, Williams sued Aiko for allegedly holding him out of expenses that she was supposed to pay back. Now, Aiko is accusing Williams of falsely acting as her booking agent while she was being represented by ICM.
According to The Blast, Jhené Aiko filed documents against Joshua Williams accusing him of acting as if they're still working together for his own personal gain. Aiko claims Williams has been pretending to be her booking agency despite the fact that she's represented by talent agency ICM. In the documents filed, she accused Williams putting her face on his website and using her image to “raise the status and representation” of his entainment operations.
She also said that Williams actions had a negative impact on her reputation and made her look like she was directly involved in breaching her contract ICM.
Jhené Aiko's claims comes a few months after Williams sued her for $53K for allegedly owing him expenses as well as another $16K in regular pay that he made while working as her tour manager. Aiko fired back and said that Williams was booking luxurious hotels and services for other clients while trying to get her to reimburse the expenses.
Williams has yet to respond to Aiko's allegations but we'll keep you updated.
