According to a report by Hollywood Life, fans of Jenifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez believe that the couple may have discreetly revealed that they are engaged.
Since the two first began dating, fans have been on the lookout for any clues that the couple plan to get married. During their first joint interview in October of last year, the musician and athlete spoke candidly about their partnership and compatibility. "We're are very much twins," Rodriguez said. "We're both Leos; we're both from New York; we're both Latino and about 20 other things." The "On The Floor" songstress added, "I understand him in a way that I don't think anyone else could, and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever..We both had ups and downs and challenges in our 30s and by our 40s we'd both been through so much. And more importantly than anything, we had both done a lot of work on ourselves."
In a recent video posted on Instagram by Rodriguez, Jennifer can be seen wearing a sizable, sparkling ring. Naturally, commentators were prompted to comment on how dazzling the ring appeared, while others speculated that the couple had gotten engaged. Though many were quick to point out that Lopez seemed to be wearing the ring on her right hand, one commentator made the astute observation that “it’s a mirror affect [sic] when you take a selfie…flips things.”
Neither Lopez nor Rodriguez has confirmed rumours of an engagement, but it is abundantly clear that fans are looking forward to news of one in the future.
