It's been a while since Jennifer Hudson dropped her album JHUD, but today, she returns with a powerful video for one of the album cuts. Her "I Still Love You" focuses on a gay couple as they prepare for marriage, and follows one of their fathers as he struggles to cope with his son's sexual preferences.
Speaking to MTV, Hudson explained:
“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love. So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love.”
