On the weekend, Jeezy teased fans with a short Instagram video clip, promising something would arrive in two days time. It wasn't clear what we would receive exactly, but obviously it was pertaining to new music of some sort. This morning, the Snowman has followed that up with a message to his fans, and an album announcement.
In the letter, Jeezy explains the significance of the black cat and crosses featured in his Instagram video, while also taking time to address police brutality against Black men, and the current social situation in general.
Now we've received yet another piece of the puzzle-- a new single titled "God." "We are all Gods in our own right. We all have the ability and the power to change the things around us. We all have the ability to affect lives; to raise our sons and daughters to become Kings and Queens; Leaders and Prophets. To make a difference on Earth while they are here," Jeezy wrote in his letter to the fans.
