Jazz Cartier fancies himself a jacuzzi expert, the type of person so familiar with bath water he never pays witness to wrinkle marks. Jazz's "Guns and Roses" single edges us a wee bit closer to the release of his project Fleurever, his first since Hotel Paranoia in 2016 which asserted him as big player in the Toronto rap game, and one with crossover appeal, judging by the stylistic choices he's been making of late.
"Guns and Roses" runs it back to the effects of 90s sleaze rock felt all over the globe. Axl Rose pictured on the thumbnail, made a name for himself "bringing roses to the mosh pit" before it all came crumbling down after he fell out with lead guitarist Slash. The analogy works to portray an artist happy to promote good party vibes and a little extra marital fun, much less in a jacuzzi.
