Jay-Z drops off a stunning visual for "Family Feud."
Jay-Z has never been one to be outdone - not even by his own wife. In 2016, Beyonce earned widespread acclaim over her visual album Lemonade, which detailed her inner struggle with Jay's infidelity. Once the affair became public knowledge, the ball moved into Jay's court; fans wanted an explanation, and the immensely personal 4:44 emerged as a result. Not only did Hov's latest album serve as a companion piece to Beyonce's narrative, but it also mirrored Lemonade in another way. While it hasn't exactly been marketed as such, 4:44 is also a visual album, with accompanying clips for near every song.
Today, the latest chapter of the saga has arrived. "Family Feud" stars Beyonce and Jay, taking on themes of betrayal, confession, and redemption. As per usual, the clip is heavily cinematic, but what else would you expect from the man who enlisted Mahershala Ali, Ron Perlman, and Lupita Nyong'o for his music videos.
